Alina Kunitsyna´sartistic oeuvre incorporates different media, including sketches, video, installations and performances. In recent years painting and colored ink drawings on paper have become increasingly prominent.

While Alina Kunitsyna was mainly displaying figures with an anthro-morph shape provoking our thinking about the relationship between coat and core in the course of her first series „sphaerae“ (2012-2014), we can directly identify the relevant core topic and the corresponding supertitle within her latest series „sphæræ II“.

Obviously, bowls with the shape of bubbles are floating on air before us and sometimes only seem to display their external parts to us, when, another time allow us to get an insight into a room that might be found in the inside of the bowl.

Her work was included in recent exhibitions at: „Sphaerae II“ Lisabird Contemporary, Vienna (2014), „Opening“ Galerie Peter Bäumler, Regensburg (2014), „Die Illustrierte Ausstellung“ Künstlerhaus Klagenfurt, Klagenfurt (2012), „Alina Kunitsyna“ Napoleonstadel – Volksbank, Klagenfurt (2011) and „Fokus Sammlung 02, Menschenbilder“ Museum moderner Kunst Kärnten, Klagenfurt (2011).
